Fall and Spring

The course focuses on algebraic and transcendental functions, parametric and polar equations, sequences and series, and vectors. Graphing utilities (calculators, computers, and other technology tools) will be used. The course serves as appropriate preparation for a calculus course. The study of Pre-Calculus deepens a student’s mathematical understanding and fluency with algebra and trigonometry and extends their ability to make connections and apply concepts and procedures at higher levels.  The course serves as preparation for Calculus.
